Chamber Exec, Todd Handcock, to become VP AP Business Transformation for BT

Todd Handcock has been appointed as BT’s  Vice President , Asia Pacific Business Transformation.  Formerly Todd acted as BT’s GM for Business Operations, Asia Pacific, and Interim Country Manager, China.  In his new role, Todd will be responsible for the overall implementation of BT’s Asia Pacific expansion programme. 

In May 2010, BT announced a new expansion and investment programme for the Asia Pacific region, covering additional resourcing, new infrastructure and an expanded portfolio of services. As part of this plan, BT is in the process of filling around 300 new positions across the region in the key customer markets of Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan and Singapore. The expansion of this in-region proposition portfolio will allow BT to provide enhanced service delivery capabilities and several new customer showcase centres across the region to aid customer growth as they continue to invest throughout Asia Pacific.

 

This expansion program is a key investment initiative for BT and under Todd’s leadership the program will deliver significant benefits to BT and its multinational customers including a significantly expanded portfolio and extensive operational improvements.
