The Women’s Foundation and the Oxbridge Women’s Network (OWN) are delighted to present an Inspirational Evening with Mrs. Anson Chan, Former Chief Secretary for Administration, on Tuesday, March 12 from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. We are very grateful to Linklaters for hosting the event at their offices in Alexandra House.
Noted for her poise and smile, Mrs. Chan was the first woman and the first Chinese to hold the second-highest governmental position in Hong Kong. After stepping down as head of the Civil Service, Mrs. Chan won the December 2007 by-election for the Hong Kong Island seat in the Legislative Council, as an independent, and served a full term as a LegCo member.
