Habitat

Habitat for Humanity (HFH) is an international non-governmental organization dedicated to eliminating poverty housing. Since founded in 1976, we have built and renovated more than 400,000 safe, decent and affordable houses for over 2 million people in 100 countries. We have launched post-disaster reconstruction projects after the Sichuan earthquake in 2008, Myanmar cyclone and Haiti earthquake in 2010 to provide homes for over 50,000 affected families.  (For more details, please visit our website :  www.habitatchina.org )

We would like to invite to join “2011 Habitat Golf for Charity Tournament”, which will be held at The Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club on July 29, 2011 (Friday). This tournament will hereafter serve as an important platform to raise funds for and promote Habitat’s projects in Hong Kong and China. We have, up-to-date, invited the following guests: Michael Wong 王敏德 and his 2 daughters, 李思雅, Jeanie Kwok and 2 teams from香港藝人高爾夫協會; and sponsors: Volvo HK, Ashworth, Callaway and Taylor Made, etc.

To acknowledge the players, trophies are uniquely crafted by Mr. Law Hon Wa, a local ceramics artist having over 20 years of ceramic experience who also is a golf lover. He has received numerous praises and awards such as the Philippe Charriol Arts Foundation Awards and his works are displayed in many major exhibitions in museums in Hong Kong and overseas. In this email, you may find the photos of the exceptional trophies. A list of luxurious prizes and gifts is also confirmed, including but not limited to  Volvo’s V60, Le Coq de Sportif’s golf apparels, Callaway and Taylor Made’s putters etc.
