CSR: Manulife maintains its proud record of reliable support for charity Walk for Millions

With a strong team of more than 3,000 agents and staff participating in the Walk for Millions on January 9, Manulife (International) Limited kept up its proud record of reliable support for this now-iconic annual charity event organized by The Community Chest of Hong Kong (HKCC). Over the last 16 years, more than 14,900 Manulifers have walked for millions and helped raise more than HK$10 million to support services operated by different member social welfare agencies of the HKCC each year.

In a bid to generate the greatest possible numbers — and keep everybody enthusiastic — a group of cheer-leaders and a cube-shaped Manulife mascot saw the walkers off. And senior management played chefs for the day, manning food counters along the route. Among them were Bob Cook, Senior Executive Vice President and General Manager, Manulife Asia; Michael Huddart, Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer, Manulife Hong Kong, and Emil Lee, Vice President and Chief Agency Officer, Manulife Hong Kong.
